Online Resources Initiatives of Collegiate Education (ORICE) is a progressive initiative of the Directorate of Collegiate Education that provides a great opportunity for higher educational institutions to revolutionise the traditional teaching-learning system by implementing innovative strategies by effectively employing the advances of technology. Although its original vision is to develop and disseminate higher education thoughts of eminent academicians and experts within India and abroad, there is great scope for expanding this vision to multifarious academic interests and activities by upgrading the ORICE studio of colleges as professional E-Content Development Centres. The ORICE studio of the college serves as a centre where high-quality multimedia learning resources could be developed. In addition to its specified objectives, the centre is effectively utilised by faculty members to develop curriculum-based course content for MOOCs. Besides that, the centre may allow students to acquire hands-on experience to create audio-visual products of academic interest.
