Environment Day celebrations (June 6th 2022)
In connection with the world environment day celebrations, the Botany Department of Government College Kottayam organized Herbal Garden cleaning and planting of tree saplings under the theme # ONLY ONE EARTH in association with IQAC, various clubs and organizations of the college.
Coaching classes for competitive exams
From the 2022 June 1st week onwards, coaching classes were organized for students interested in various competitive exams. Discussion of the theory part and previous question papers of competitive exams were carried out.

LIVE GREEN (Environment Week celebrations 2021)
In continuation with WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (5th June 2021) celebrations, the Department of Botany celebrated ENVIRONMENT WEEK “LIVE GREEN” from 5th June 2021 to 11th June 2021.

An orientation programme for students regarding the Indian Forest Service exam is conducted on 11th November 2021.
